We are deeply saddened by the passing of Richard Leakey. A great loss to Kenya, Stony Brook and all of us. An incredible paleoanthropologist and wildlife conservationist. We send our hugs and condolences to Maeve, Louise, and Samira. In November 2020, Richard and Maeve hosted Pat at Turkana Basin Institute.
